The 2026 Monster Energy Supercross season kicks off at the iconic Angel Stadium, and the track layout is exactly what we’ve been waiting for. This year, the designers have brought back a classic “A1” feel with some modern, technical twists that will put the world’s best riders to the test immediately.
What to Expect on the Floor:
The Start: A long, high-speed blast into a sweeping left-hand turn. With the 450 class more stacked than ever, getting through Turn 1 cleanly will be the biggest challenge of the night.
Rhythm Sections: The layout features two massive rhythm lanes. Look for riders like Jett Lawrence and Chase Sexton to experiment with creative “quad” lines to shave off tenths of a second.
The Whoops: A long, punishing set of whoops placed right before a 180-degree bowl turn. As the SoCal dirt dries out and gets “blue-grooved,” this section will become a game-changer.
Sand Section: A technical sand rhythm is back for 2026, designed to break up the flow and force riders to search for traction in the deep stuff.
